Roommates

Roomies 4 Life!!! (Until You Kill Each Other)

Having a roommate can be both exciting and scary at the same time. After all, this may be the first time you have lived with someone other than people in your family, and you may not exactly know what your roommate will be like when you meet him or her. Is she awesome? Is he stuck-up? SHE LIKES JACOB INSTEAD OF EDWARD?!

Why Get a Roommate?: Cannibalism in the 21st Century

A roommate is good for several reasons. First, having a roommate helps split up costs like the rent, utilities, and food. Second, a roommate can split up chores around the house, unless you are both slobs, in which case you should get along fine. Finally, a roommate can simply be there for company. It can get lonely if you are in a new place away from home.

With that said, you and your roommate will occasionally disagree about the way things roll. For example, you walk in and see your roommate on the couch. Absolutely naked. You make a face and run to your bedroom. But your roommate may see things differently. To him or her, there is nothing wrong with wearing the birthday suit around the place, and you are being stuck-up.
