That is why we have the judicial system, which takes all the fun out of settling situations with fisticuffs.
A lease helps the tenant and landlord see eye to eye. This is an agreement between the tenant and landlord. It outlines the rules to live in the rented space. Failure adhere to the lease may be grounds for kicking the tenant out or settling in court.
