Mutual Funds
The Long Term Investment SnackPack!
Stocks, bonds, money accounts, blah blah blah BLAH! All this stuff is well and good, but who has time for all that? It’s complicated picking investments, keeping track of those investments, and buying / selling them at the right time. It almost doesn’t even seem worth it. It’s an exhaustive amount of work, and that’s after your normal responsibilities in your exhaustive, time-consuming life. You have at least 40 hours a week of something to do, right? School, work, kids, or who knows what? Maybe you have to wrestle bears daily to protect the kith and kin. Maybe you are trying to break the record for chugging the most energy drinks in an hour. (Should you be twitching like that?). Maybe you are trying to memorize the complete works of Shakespeare, so you can spit out quotes in random conversation with your snotty in or out-laws. Point is you’re busy.
Mutual funds may be the investing tool for you. (Seriously energy drink kid, are you convulsing?). Mutual funds allow you to invest in a wide range of securities and get the support of professional investment management in a convenient manner. Don’t take my word for it though. Peruse this section at will to find out what they are, the different types of mutual funds, how to pick them, how to buy them, and what all the associated fees are about. Or if it’s all a little too much to deal with (you pansy), you can go straight to the takeaways, and as always, your magnificent, fantastic, juggernaut personal finance guide is here to help.
